Our PETRA collection is born from the STONE WASHED technique, a process that still involves washing the fabric with pumice stones in large industrial washing machines during the final stage of production. The rubbing of the stones wears away the fabric fibers, seemingly "ruining" them, but actually making them much more comfortable and durable.

STONE WASHING not only makes the fabric more comfortable and soft against the skin, but also increases its durability, as the superficial breakage of its fibers reduces the likelihood of further fraying or damage caused by usury.

The resulting advantage today is that these garments no longer need to be ironed to preserve their distinctive vintage allure.
